Salad days

Dolce & Gabbana dress

No, I am not talking about a new miraculous diet to get ready for the summer, this is the title of an amazing shooting by Richard Burbridge.

"Let's call it Arcimboldo, but with a twist" said Robbie Spencer, the stylist of this luxurious shooting for Time Magazine.
In fact the inspiration comes all from the Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo that, during the 16th century used to create portraits using fruits, flowers, vegetables and even fishes.
Burbridge and Spencer give life to a masterpiece of opulence, playing with food and the creations of Dolce & Gabbana, Viktor & Rolf, Ferragamo, Pucci and McQueen. An ode to life and its pleasures, Arcimboldo would love it!
