There is just one thing everyone is talking about today and it is Valentino's show.
C'è solo una cosa che è sulla bocca di tutti da oggi pomeriggio: la sfilata di Valentino.
This afternoon Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli deserved their standing ovation, not just for presenting (another) outstanding collection, but also for taking the epic move of closing their show with Derek and Hansel from Zoolander.
When I saw it first I couldn't believe my eyes, but it REALLY happened: they walked down the runway, stopped for five seconds, gave the best blue steel ever and turned back leaving their silk coats behind and took the bow. Best fashion moment in ages and best reminder of not taking anything too seriously.
Bistrot, passerelle che si alzano e i abbassano come in un concerto rock, luci stroboscopiche, pensavamo di aver visto tutto..fino ad oggi.
Questo pomeriggio Maria Grazia Chiuri e Pier Paolo Piccioli si sono meritati la loro standing ovation, non solo per avere presentato un'(altra) collezione favolosa, ma per aver chiuso la sfilata in modo a dir poco meraviglioso con l'uscita di Derek e Hansel di Zoolander.
All'inizio non potevo credere ai miei occhi ma è successo DAVVERO: sono usciti in passerella, si sono fermati per cinque secondi, hanno lanciato il loro miglior sgarro magnum verso i fotografi e si sono voltati, lasciando cadere i cappotti sulla passerella come da copione. Momento epico e soprattutto fantastico remainder di non prendersi troppo sul serio.
