Colin Lin's fantastic paper shoes

Don't throw away your newspaper, it can become your new pair of shoes!

Newspapers and magazines always invade my desk, but I never thought of using them to create a pair of shoes!

But a super creative Taiwanese designer came up with the idea. 26 years ago Colin Lin started to recycle Chinese newspapers and she is still transforming them into super cool shoes and bags. To create a pair of ballerinas she needs only 3 pages and a half of a newspaper and don't worry, your ballerinas will survive the first rainy day! Mrs Lin use a special process in order to make them as waterproof and resistant as a normal pair of shoes.
The average price is 100-150 $ for shoes and 260 $ for bags.

There is only a big problem: Colin hasn't a website where to buy her fantastic creations. Is someone going to Taiwan? :)


Giornali e riviste di solito invadono la mia scrivania ma non avrei mai pensato di poterli utilizzare per fare un paio di scarpe!

L'idea è venuta ad una super fantasiosa designer di Taiwan, Colin Lin, che ha deciso di riciclare i giornali per creare una linea di scarpe e borse ecologiche e super cool!
Per realizzare un paio di ballerine bastano 3 pagine e mezzo di giornale e non preoccupatevi, non si rovineranno alla prima pioggia! Madame Lin utilizza uno speciale trattamento per renderle waterproof e resistenti come un "normale" paio di scarpe. I prezzi delle scarpe variano dai 100 ai 150 dollari, mentre le borse costano 260 dollari in media.

C'è un unico grande problema: non esiste un sito internet dove acquistarle o ordinarle. C'è qualcuno che ha in programma un viaggio a Taiwan? :)
