Art à porter

Never like this season fashion showed its artistic side.

Have you ever wonder how a Basquiat would look if it was a dress or what would happen if street artist would paint a bag instead of city walls? Now you don't have to dream anymore because this season many fashion designers decided to use their dresses as a canvas for artistic pieces.
From the art gallery that was the set of the Chanel show, to the street artist who strictly collaborated with Prada and the Dior's dresses inspired by the conceptual art of Jenny Holzer, this spring the art is à porter!

Phoebe Philo found her inspiration in the powerful art of Jean-Michel Basquiat

The rainbow dresses at Chanel reminded me of the painting of the Italian abstract painter Dorazio

The mesmerizing art of the Colombian street artist Stinkfish is now not just on the walls of Bogota

The future is now and Raf Simons knows it.
His collection is inspired by the video art of Jenny Holzer, Matrix style.
